Motorcycle mechanic killed in New Karachi as result of resistance during robbery, number of people killed this year reaches 48
A case has not yet been registered in the incident, but the police have obtained camera footage and started searching for the suspects involved.
Karachi (Report Mohsin Rashid) The shooting of a motorcycle mechanic in the New Karachi area by unknown armed suspects was the result of resistance during a robbery, while the number of citizens killed during resistance during looting this year has reached 48. According to the police, on Monday, two suspects riding a motorcycle opened indiscriminate fire in the New Karachi Sector 5L area of Bilal Colony police station, killing 30-year-old motorcycle rider Muhammad Nasir, son of Sarwar, and fled from the scene. The deceased Muhammad Nasir was a father of 3 children and a motorcycle mechanic, whose murder was actually the result of resistance during a robbery. The deceased Muhammad Nasir was going home after closing his shop when two unknown armed suspects riding a motorcycle snatched his mobile phone at gunpoint and fled. When the accused fled, Muhammad Nasir started chasing them on his motorcycle, upon which the accused opened fire on him indiscriminately and Muhammad Nasir was seriously injured after being hit by 4 bullets on his body. He was immediately shifted to the hospital, where he died during treatment. According to the SHO, a case has not been registered in the incident yet, however, the police have started searching for the accused involved in the incident by obtaining footage from CCTV cameras installed around the scene.
