Karachi (Staff Reporter) Sindh Home Minister Khaya Lanjar has said that Karachi's traffic system has not been improved even by 20 percent, we need the cooperation of the opposition and the people to improve it. Speaking in the house during the Sindh Assembly session, Khaya Lanjar said that fines have been imposed in Karachi for the protection of citizens, 4 children are being carried on a motorcycle, there is no headlight, challans are being issued in other cities besides Karachi. Khaya Lanjar said that the amount of the challan is indeed large, but there is no recovery, we have waived the amount of the challan first. He added that someone said that we will not pay fines, laws are not made based on someone's caste. What Ali Khorshidi said about the traffic warden is inappropriate, not everyone is the same, we are ready to sit with them and resolve their concerns. Sindh Law Minister said that the amount of fines was also increased in Punjab, support us to establish a writ of law and improve the traffic system. Earlier during the session, Law Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar presented an ordinance in the house regarding constitutional benches, which was approved for legalization. On the other hand, Opposition Leader Sindh Assembly Ali Khorshidi said that so far Rs 700 million in fines have been collected from Karachi, and there is a request from the Law Minister to reduce the fines. During the Sindh Assembly session, Ali Khorshidi, while speaking in the house, said that there is a request regarding challans that a parliamentary committee should be formed. Raising a question in the house, he further said that fines in the form of challans should be reduced, cameras have been installed in Karachi, why have cameras not been installed in other cities?
