 Grand “Battle of Truth” Independence Day Rally — August 14, 3:00 PM


On Wednesday, August 14 at 3:00 PM, a magnificent Independence Day rally was held to commemorate Pakistan’s freedom and, alongside it, to celebrate the Battle of Truth — Operation Baniyan-ul-Marsous, marka e haq  Pakistan’s historic victory and success. The gathering paid an emphatic tribute to the nation’s esteemed Commander, Field Marshal General Asim Munir, in recognition of his leadership, vision, and steadfast commitment to national security.


Route & Assembly


Participants mobilized from across Karachi—especially from Jinjhal Goth, Sohrab Goth, and adjoining neighborhoods—converging on Super Highway (Gulshan-e-Sohail), near Shakir Hotel, right at 3:00 PM. From there, the rally set off in an orderly procession:


Start: Shakir Hotel (Super Highway, Gulshan-e-Sohail)


Via: Malir Cantt Road → Shahrah-e-Faisal


Finish: Karachi Press Club, where the rally concluded with a vibrant closing segment.



Spirit of the Day


Waving the national flag and echoing coordinated chants, participants offered resounding slogans in support of the Pakistan Army, expressing heartfelt gratitude for the sacrifices of our armed forces. Families, youth groups, senior citizens, and community leaders all marched side by side, symbolizing unity, discipline, and pride in Pakistan’s resilient spirit.


Tribute to Leadership


Speakers highlighted Pakistan’s achievements under decisive leadership and reiterated unwavering solidarity with the defenders of the homeland. A special note of appreciation was extended to Field Marshal General Asim Munir for his principled stance, clarity of purpose, and devotion to national integrity. The rally underscored that peace, stability, and rule of law are the foundations of prosperity.


Organization & Safety


Volunteer teams managed crowd flow and assisted elders and families along the route. Traffic was guided to minimize disruption, first-aid support remained on standby, and cleanliness measures were observed throughout the procession to ensure civic responsibility and public comfort.


Closing Remarks


At the Karachi Press Club, the rally culminated with thanksgiving prayers and renewal of the pledge to protect Pakistan’s sovereignty, uphold its constitution, and continue working for a peaceful, progressive future. Participants dispersed in an orderly manner after the national anthem, leaving behind a strong message of unity and national resolve.
