Karachi (Crime Reporter) A total of 6 cases have been registered for the incident of harassment and firing of a girl in a software warehouse (call center) located in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of Karachi and the police have arrested 8 people involved in the incident. The first case was registered on the complaint of the victim’s father, Syed Shoaib Hussain, under sections including harassment of a woman, causing death and quarrel. According to the plaintiff, his daughter had been working as a customer leader in the call center for the past three years, and the branch manager Daniyal had been harassing her daughter and doing indecent acts. The daughter came home and told her brother and the son told me, on Tuesday my nephew called Daniyal and said why are you harassing my sister, so Daniyal started threatening her. Later, when my daughter went to the office, Daniyal called my nephew and said, "You didn't come, do whatever you can to me." According to the statement, the mother said that when I reached my daughter's office with my sister Zarina and nephews Muhammad Majid, Salman Khan, Syed Salman and Faizan, they locked the office from inside. We knocked on the door, but they did not open the door and kept my daughter in the room for a long time. When the door was not opened, my nephew and I broke the door and went inside. During this, the branch manager Daniyal started abusing her. At the same time, Zulqarnain took out his weapon and fired in the air, to which my nephew Muhammad Majid also fired back. The office guards Imran and Raza also fired with their weapons. Someone reported the incident to Madagaar 15 police. On information, the police reached the spot and arrested the shooters Muhammad Majid, Zulqarnain, Faizan, Imran Ali, Raza Muhammad and the rioters Salman Khan, Syed Salman, Syed Daniyal Hussain. Weapons were recovered from the arrested accused Muhammad Majid, Zulqarnain, Faizan, Imran and Raza Muhammad. SHO Gulshan Iqbal Naeem Rajput said that 8 people have been arrested on charges of harassing the girl, firing and causing a fight, while the police have registered a total of 6 cases in the incident. Weapons were recovered from the arrested five people, against whom 5 cases have been registered under the provisions of illegal arms.
