A young child fell into an open sewer in front of a well-known departmental store near Gulshan-e-Iqbal Nap Bridge and went missing. According to details, a 3-year-old child fell into a manhole without a lid near Nap Chowrangi, despite all efforts, the child could not be found. Rescue 1122 teams arrived on the information about the child’s fall and are busy searching for the child in the sewer. According to rescue officials, a family had come to the store for shopping, child Ibrahim fell into an open sewer near the store. The manhole did not have a lid, due to which the child fell into it, due to the narrowness of the sewer line, the child’s mother is waiting for a crane, her condition deteriorated, my child is crying out for help. The child was identified as 3-year-old Ibrahim, police and rescue teams reached the scene as soon as they received the information, but the child could not be pulled out alive. After the incident, the child's family is expressing extreme grief and anger. A large number of citizens gathered on this occasion, and more personnel of the area police were also called to the scene. Rescue officials say that the sewer is narrower at the bottom, due to which a crane has been called for excavation. Only after digging with the help of a shovel will the sweepers be able to go further into the sewer. It is worth remembering that before this, a 3-year-old child fell into an open manhole in Surjani Town last month and died. It should be noted that this year, 22 people have died after falling into manholes.
