Headline: Illegal Educational Institutions Flourishing in Karachi, Future of Students at Risk

Karachi – A detailed investigation has uncovered the alarming spread of unregistered and illegal educational institutions across Karachi. These so-called colleges and academies are operating without affiliation to any recognized educational board or approval from the Directorate of Colleges. Students are being misled and charged heavy fees, only to discover later that their degrees or certificates are invalid.
According to sources, many of these institutions falsely claim to be affiliated with major universities or boards and lure students in with the promise of quick degrees, admissions, and certifications. In reality, they lack the required infrastructure, qualified staff, and legal registration.

Investigations also reveal that these illegal institutions are often run in small buildings or rented flats, operating under different names to avoid detection. Despite repeated complaints, no strict action has been taken by the authorities.
Education experts have raised concerns that such scams are ruining students’ futures, as they waste both time and money. The public is demanding urgent government intervention, stricter regulation, and immediate shutdown of these illegal setups.
