Karachi (Crime Reporter) Following the instructions given by IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon to the police officers and officials regarding strict compliance with traffic rules, Karachi Police Chief Javed Alam Odho has also issued instructions to the three Zonal DIGs, DIG CIA and DIG Traffic to strictly enforce their respective district SSPs, SPs, SDPOs and SHOs to ensure that police personnel fully comply with traffic rules. According to a Karachi Police spokesperson, the Karachi Police Chief has issued instructions that the use of fake or non-standard number plates by police employees, not wearing helmets and other violations of traffic rules will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He has made it clear that strict departmental action will be taken against those police officers or officials found involved in violating the rules. Therefore, all officers are being required to ensure the implementation of the given instructions and strictly supervise the staff under them and also ensure the immediate and effective implementation of the given instructions. In any case, make sure that every member of the police force is bound by the law.
