When will this fantasy end?
Interior Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar and IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon expressed dissatisfaction over the performance of 15 SSPs on a patch. The head of the anti-narcotics task force was handed over to DIG West Irfan Baloch. The officers started beating their hands and feet to stop the action.

The inquiry into SSP Sukkur Azhar Khan has been handed over to DIG Aamir Farooqui and SSP Daru Saud Kami has been handed over to DIG Faizullah Baju, while it has been decided to remove three SSPs. Whether the Sindh government and police are serious about the issue of drugs or just rhetoric will be decided by action, but for now, it has been decided to transfer police officers so that some improvement can be made. President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari is also serious about preventing drugs and has also held a meeting with some Sindh Police officers. Recently, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of MPA Faryal Talpur in which displeasure was expressed over the arrest and subsequent release of big drug dealers. After that, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Interior Minister in which the Additional IG Karachi discussed the raids of the task force. It was decided that a show cause notice would be issued for the first raid and the senior officer would be surrendered for the second raid. On complaints of rapid smuggling of drugs and other illegal goods in Dadu, IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon conducted an inquiry from the Counter Mir Razm Department (CTD), in which detailed light was shed on the issues of oil theft and smuggling in the PARCO line. SSP Dadu and Saud Magsi IA in-charge Sajjad Jamali and SHO Jodi Mohsin Jamali were removed from their posts, after which the inquiry has been handed over to DIG Faizullah Kaur Baju. Corruption, smuggling and other issues in the district will be examined in this inquiry. Sources say that recently, IG Sindh met DIG Hyderabad Tariq Dharejo and SSP Wada Saud Magsi in the office, in which DIG Hyderabad informed IG Sindh about all the corruption issues in Dadu. In this investigation, one police officer Waheed, who was also in B Company, and the other private Adi Shahbaz, who has been provided with a police mobile, were arrested. This investigation was conducted in Dadu and We see all the setups of smuggling in Nawabshah, these two people are an important part of this network, this inquiry will reveal more facts. Sindh Police officers have been given the task of cracking down on drugs and some officers of the Atwasal branch have also been removed from their posts for making biased reports so that the arrest of big drug dealers can be made possible.
