Karachi (Crime Reporter) DIG Traffic Pir Muhammad Shah has issued 17 orders to all concerned officers on prevention of accidents, traffic flow and other important matters in Karachi city. The first order of DIG Traffic has been stated that there is a complete ban on begging, in which no leniency or concession will be tolerated, therefore, those who beg at intersections and signals should be arrested immediately and handed over to the local police and the details should be shared with the Reader Branch. Pir Muhammad Shah said that the schools which are on the main highways and cause traffic obstruction, the concerned officers are present there in the morning and during the holidays, they should control the traffic outside the schools and make the vehicles coming to pick up the students park in a regular queue in an orderly manner. It has also been ordered to keep all intersections completely empty and not to allow illegal encroachments or parking within 50 meters of the intersection. It has been further stated that under no circumstances should passengers be allowed to travel on the roof of buses, all rickshaws and rickshaws should take steps to have their number plates clearly displayed, and underage driving should not be allowed under any circumstances. Pir Muhammad Shah has also given an important order that motorcycles parked outside any factory, institution or office should be inspected, number plates, headlights, taillights and indicators, side mirrors and chain should be in proper condition, the rider should also have an original driving license and helmet, otherwise the motorcycles should be impounded unless the owners fulfill the conditions. Pir Muhammad Shah said that the faces of the officials should look clean and presentable, any violation of these instructions will be taken seriously and strict disciplinary action will be taken for negligence.
