A policeman was martyred in the firing of unknown assailants riding a 125-wheeler in the Pepri area of Amlir. The Sindh Home Minister took notice of the incident and sought a report.
Sajjad, 50, a resident of Sharafi Goth, was shot dead in Shah Latif Town. The deceased had come to meet a man named Javed. The police have termed the incident as a result of personal enmity.

A new wave of target killings in Karachi, 3 people including a policeman lost their lives in firing incidents, according to details, unidentified suspects opened fire on a moving motorcycle near the track leading from Nagan Chowrangi Flyover to Sohrab Goth in Shahr-e-Quaid area. On the Nagan Chowrangi flyover, the suspects riding a motorcycle opened fire on a person riding with his uncle on the bike, in which the uncle remained safe, while the deceased Fazlur Rehman died on the spot after being shot in the head. As soon as the incident was reported, the police reached the spot and took the body of the deceased to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital with the help of Edhi volunteers. SHO Gabol Town Tariq Kamran said that the deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Fazlur Rehman son of Umar Khattab. The motorcycle-borne suspects who came from behind on the moving motorcycle shot him in the head, which proved fatal. He said that initial investigations have revealed that the deceased was accompanied by his relative Arif, who miraculously escaped the firing and gave a statement to the police that he was going from Nagan Chowrangi to Sohrab Goth and when he reached the landing track of Nagan Flyover, the motorcycle-riding suspects coming from behind on a moving motorcycle shot Fazlur Rehman in the head, while the suspects were covering their faces with white cloth to hide their identities. According to the SHO, the incident appears to be a result of personal enmity. The deceased was a resident of North Karachi Bilal Colony, Katchi Abadi Sector Seven, under the Sir Syed police station limits and worked as a security guard. However, the police are investigating the incident further and obtaining more information from eyewitnesses. On the other hand, a policeman was martyred in the firing of unknown suspects in the Pepri area of Malir, while the Sindh Home Minister took notice of the incident and sought details from the SSP Malir. He directed that evidence should be collected from the scene with utmost care and the operation and investigation police should cooperate with us to make the investigation and investigation process successful. Rescue officials said that the incident took place in a house near the DC office, while SHO Zameer Hussain said that the deceased was identified as 50-year-old Sajjad, while initial investigation revealed that the deceased is said to be a resident of Sharafi Goth who had come to meet a person named Javed when an unknown suspect opened fire on him and fled. However, the incident appears to be the result of a personal enmity, which is being investigated further.
