Karachi (Crime Reporter) A comprehensive awareness campaign has been launched on road safety and faceless e-ticketing in collaboration with Karachi Traffic Police and Lok Sahayata. According to a spokesperson for the Traffic Police, the aim of this campaign is to provide citizens with complete awareness about the importance of traffic rules and a modern, automated challan system. The faceless e-challan system is being activated systematically from October 1, 2025, under which challans for violation of traffic rules will be issued with the help of modern cameras and will be sent to the homes of citizens without any intervention or recommendation, along with evidence. Under this modern system, traffic rules will be automatically monitored through modern CCTV cameras installed across the city, and in case of violation, a challan will be issued with photo or video evidence. Citizens will be provided with a new experience of transparent, fair and effective law enforcement. During the awareness campaign, awareness pamphlets are being distributed among citizens at various important places in the city, especially at traffic signals. Volunteers, lady constables and students of educational institutions are working with the traffic police to educate the citizens. The importance of traffic rules, road safety and transparency in the system are being highlighted. This initiative is a revolutionary step towards making Karachi a safer, more organized and law-abiding city.
