Accused arrested for looting Rs 200 million from Kish Din


Abdul Samad son of Juman Shah was arrested by Rangers from Pehlwan Goth on a tip-off, spokesperson said.


Karachi (Crime Reporter) Sindh Rangers have arrested a suspect involved in the robbery of a company’s cash van while conducting an operation in Pehlwan Goth. The arrested suspect, along with his younger brother and other accomplices, had robbed Rs 205 million from a private company’s cash van on II Chandrigar Road in 2021. According to the spokesperson, Sindh Rangers, acting on confidential information, arrested Abdul Samad son of Juman Shah, who was involved in illegal arms trading, robbery and several other incidents, while conducting an operation in Pehlwan Goth area and recovered a 30-bore pistol with ammunition without a license, a stolen motorcycle and a mobile phone from his possession. The arrested suspect revealed during interrogation that he was also involved in the robbery of a private company’s cash van on II Chandrigar Road in 2021 along with his younger brother Hanifullah alias Siraj Khan and other accomplices, in which about Rs 205 million was robbed. The arrested accused further revealed that he is in touch with various dacoits, drug dealers and car lifter gangs and sells them illegal weapons for their crimes. Raids are being conducted to arrest the other accomplices of the accused. The arrested accused along with the weapons, ammunition and stolen goods were handed over to the police for further legal action.
