Robbers Plunder Over Rs. 86 Million in 6 Days Across Karachi

Karachi – In a shocking revelation, robbers have looted approximately Rs. 86 million during 6 days between March 12 and 17 in various areas of Karachi, according to police records. During this period, 5 people were killed, and multiple incidents of street crimes and armed robberies were reported.

Police sources revealed that 6 major bank robberies and high-profile incidents occurred, along with 140 street crimes, including snatching of motorcycles, cars, mobile phones, and cash. The criminals struck in areas like Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Bahadurabad, and North Nazimabad with alarming coordination.

On March 12 alone, Rs. 40 million were looted from a bank in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, while in another case, Rs. 10 million were stolen from a businessman's vehicle. Street criminals also killed 5 people who resisted during robberies.

Despite CCTV footage and FIRs being lodged, law enforcement has made little progress in arresting culprits. In one case, a trader was robbed of Rs. 13 million after withdrawing money from a bank in Saddar.

The crime surge has sparked public outrage and renewed calls for reform and accountability within Karachi’s law enforcement. Citizens are demanding urgent action to restore safety in the city.
