Karachi (Crime Reporter) Sindh Home Department’s unique feat, alleged plan to dispose of Rs 250 million exposed, according to details, Sindh Home Department allegedly planned to dispose of a huge amount of Rs 250 million which came to light. According to sources, ignoring all the laws in the name of e-tacking of 4000 professional criminals, Sindh Home Department declared an emergency and awarded the contract to a company and also issued an order to Net Cyber Solution to be exempted from super laws. Preparations for disbursing the alleged amount from the budget a few days before the revenge of the current financial year were also completed. Sources said that the government budget of about Rs 250 million will be withdrawn from the financial year 2025-2024. In this regard, Additional Chief Secretary Muhammad Iqbal Memon presented the excuse that the members of the Procurement Committee are not interested, so this work should be completed without the normal bidding procedure of tenders. Sources further said that the Additional Chief Secretary wrote a letter to Super Stini on May 26, citing that A-Net Cyber Solutions submitted its application on May 23 and issued a work order on May 29, which is the fastest work order of the Sindh Home Ministry so far. According to sources, the work order has been issued to the company under the signature of Secretary Home Department Ijaz Hussain. According to the work order, more than 4,000 professional criminals will be chipped and live monitoring will be carried out and the entire work will be completed in two weeks. Rs 75.1 million has been allocated for the data center part, Rs 56.94 million for the monitoring part and Rs 71.80 million has been shown for one-year technical support and training. In total, a huge amount of more than Rs 249.971 million will be spent. Sources said that under the Supra rules, it is mandatory to issue a tender for any government work. After the tender, all companies are given an equal opportunity, and then the financially and technically strong company is awarded the work contract. Interior Minister Zia Najjar, Additional Chief Secretary Home Iqbal Memon, and the Home Department continue to refrain from giving their position.
