The investigation team has accessed Humaira’s three mobile phones, a tablet and a laptop, the passwords of which were stored in Zaan’s diary. According to sources, the police have intensified efforts to obtain more clues with the help of this data. Statements of two people have also been recorded in this regard, while two more people have been summoned for questioning. According to investigators, Humaira Asghar used to visit Hum and Beauty Parlor regularly, so information will also be taken from her friends and other related persons. The police have also revealed that the late actress was in constant contact with certain people, about whom details are being collected. In addition, her bank accounts are also being examined to identify any suspicious transactions or financial matters. On the other hand, considering the seriousness of the incident, SSP South has formed a high-level investigation committee headed by SP Clifton. The investigation committee will determine whether the actress’s death was natural, accidental, a result of suicide or it was a case of murder. The committee is examining various aspects by collecting evidence. The investigation team includes SDPO Defense, ASP Nida Junaid, SH Ogzari Farooq Sanjrani, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Amjad and Police Constable Muhammad Adeel from the IT branch. The team has been directed to inform the authorities on a daily basis about the progress of the investigation. According to sources, the police have obtained data from three mobile phones, a laptop and an iPad used by Humaira Asghar, which have been opened for investigation. The investigation team has so far recorded the statements of two people, while two more people have been summoned. The police further said that at the time of death, Humaira was in a night suit and soaked clothes, a dry tub and torn clothes were found in the room. A used cigarette pack and filter were also recovered from her room, however, no medicine was found there. Police say that Humaira last read the message on WhatsApp on October 10. Her hands were clasped to her chest at the time of her death. Police officials said that Humaira Asghar had also removed her maid. Police recovered three mobile phones, a tablet, a diary and several important documents from the scene. Surprisingly, three SIMs registered in the name of Humaira Asghar were installed in these three phones. According to the investigating authorities, two mobile phones were unlocked without any password, while the password of the third phone and the tablet was written by the actress in her personal diary, which gives the impression that she was not trying to hide her data at any time. Authorities say that a total of 2215 numbers were stored in the three mobile phones, while evidence of continuous contact with 75 numbers has also been found, out of which some numbers have been shortlisted for investigation. It has also come to light that no activity has been seen from the actress’ mobile phone after October 7, which further confirms the time of her death. The police are now preparing to record the statements of the 14 people who were contacted on the last day. According to investigative sources, several confidential and sensitive information related to the actress's life has been recovered, which will be examined step by step to get to the real motives of the case.
